ES-106 Stage Manifest

Manifest purpose

This manifest is the structured contract for ES-106.

Stage identity

Field Value
Stage ID ES-106
Stage Name Implementation Readiness
Stage Family Construction Preparation
Stage Type Project evidence production
Estimated Effort 1–2 hours
Prerequisites ES-105 — Design and Technical Decisions
Previous Stage ES-105 — Design and Technical Decisions
Next Stage ES-107 — AI-Assisted Implementation
Primary Output Implementation readiness evidence package
Publication Status Production-ready

Stage mission

Confirm that the repository, design evidence, branch strategy, work packages, verification expectations, AI-use controls, and implementation guardrails are ready before coding begins.

Primary engineering question

Is the engineering environment ready for implementation work to begin with traceability, guardrails, verification expectations, and evidence discipline?

Required evidence

ES-106 requires design-to-implementation evidence, branch workflow evidence, work item evidence, guardrail evidence, AI-use control evidence, verification precheck evidence, repository readiness evidence, review plan evidence, and transition evidence.

Completion criteria

ES-106 is complete when all required readiness artifacts exist, work items are traceable, repository workflow is defined, guardrails are explicit, AI-use plan exists, verification precheck is complete, repository readiness is confirmed, review expectations are defined, and ES-107 readiness is documented.

Success criteria

ES-106 succeeds when ES-107 can begin implementation without guessing what to build, what branch workflow to use, what AI assistance is allowed, what must be verified, or what evidence implementation must produce.

Risks if skipped

Skipping ES-106 may result in uncontrolled coding, untraceable implementation, AI-generated defects, weak review evidence, missing tests, guardrail bypasses, and implementation drift from design.

Continue to ES-107

Begin AI-assisted implementation only after ES-106 readiness is accepted.
