Code Review Overview

LMU/COICP Example

Code Review Overview Example

Define the LMU/COICP integration review scope for the first core implementation increment, including reviewed work items, branches, reviewers, objectives, known risks, and baseline context.

ES-108 Code Review Review Scope

Example purpose

This artifact defines the scope of the ES-108 code review for LMU/COICP.

The review focuses on whether the controlled implementation increment can become the integrated baseline LMU-COICP-INT-001.

Review scope

Review the first core implementation increment covering:

  • IncidentRecord;
  • EvidenceEvent;
  • create synthetic incident workflow;
  • partial status and handoff update workflow;
  • basic access checks;
  • initial validation and error behavior;
  • documented AI Incident Summary deferment;
  • no real incident workflow;
  • no emergency dispatch or notification workflow.

Review objectives

  • Confirm implementation traces to LMU requirements and ES-105 design.
  • Confirm EvidenceEvent creation remains part of official state change workflow.
  • Confirm protected actions include access checks.
  • Confirm AI Incident Summary remains deferred and disabled.
  • Confirm no emergency, dispatch, or sensitive-record workflow was introduced.
  • Confirm no real campus incident data or production dependency is introduced.
  • Confirm gaps are visible before ES-109.
  • Confirm the increment is suitable for integration into LMU-COICP-INT-001.

Known risks entering review

Risk Why It Matters Review Treatment
Evidence write failure behavior requires focused review. State/evidence mismatch would violate COICP auditability. Carry to ES-109 as high-risk test focus.
Access-control tests are incomplete. LMU reviewer and future pilot roles may not be protected enough. Carry to ES-109.
Status transition validation is incomplete. Invalid workflow states could be accepted. Carry to ES-109.
Emergency-boundary behavior needs focused test. COICP must not become emergency dispatch. Carry to ES-109 with Campus Safety.
Build/test command evidence incomplete. Verification evidence remains conditional. Carry to ES-109.
Retention rules unresolved. Production/sensitive data cannot be supported. Carry to release/governance.
