AI Release Review

LMU/COICP Example

AI Release Review Example

Confirm LMU/COICP AI Incident Summary is disabled for RC-001, engineering AI use was reviewed, AI risks remain visible, and future AI release requirements are blocked until a full readiness cycle.

ES-110 AI Review Disabled Capability

Example purpose

This artifact records the AI release review for LMU-COICP-RC-001.

The candidate does not release user-facing AI functionality. AI Incident Summary remains deferred and disabled. Engineering AI use during development was reviewed and accepted only with human verification.

AI release status

AI Incident Summary is deferred and disabled for LMU-COICP-RC-001.

AI capability review

Capability Status Verification Evidence Release Decision Notes
AI Incident Summary Deferred / disabled ai_verification_record.md Not released No official AI summary path exists.
AI-assisted engineering work Used during development ai_assistance_log.md, ai_implementation_review.md Accepted with review Guardrail-violating suggestions were rejected.

AI controls

  • [x] Human review required. Preserved by not enabling AI official-summary path.
  • [x] AI output marked. Not applicable to user-facing release because feature disabled.
  • [x] Rejection path exists. Deferred with AI feature.
  • [x] Manual fallback exists. Core workflow works without AI.
  • [x] Prohibited data excluded. No active AI data path.
  • [x] AI-use evidence recorded. Engineering AI use recorded and reviewed.
  • [x] No official AI-summary path exists in RC-001.
  • [x] AI Incident Summary must remain disabled in ES-111, ES-112, and ES-113.

AI release risks

Risk Status Decision
AI summary could be mistaken for official record. Avoided by disabling feature. Accept with AI disabled.
AI prompt metadata not finalized. Deferred. Must resolve before enabling AI.
AI rejected-draft retention unresolved. Deferred. Must resolve before enabling AI.
Prohibited-data exclusion not tested for AI inputs. Deferred. Required before AI release.
AI readiness skipped under pilot pressure. Open governance risk. Governance must block AI activation without full readiness cycle.

Future AI release requirements

Before any user-facing AI summary feature is released, LMU must verify:

  • draft generation;
  • AI content marking;
  • human accept;
  • edit-and-accept;
  • reject;
  • accepted-summary evidence event;
  • prohibited data exclusion;
  • prompt context metadata;
  • retention rule for drafts and rejected drafts;
  • manual fallback when AI unavailable;
  • no autonomous status, closure, escalation, or communications approval;
  • release, operations, deployment, monitoring, stewardship, and governance controls.

AI release decision

AI Incident Summary is not released.
Release scope must state AI Incident Summary is disabled.
